Today, if we look at the business environment, it is easy to conclude that, as never before, the position of human resources manager was never more important for the organization's business. A large number of social, economic, and political factors that jointly affect the business of companies in Serbia make human resource management a much more important, if not the most important function in the organization. But, also because of all that, today's human resource managers must come to the fore and be realized, that is, show and prove themselves as an equal strategic partner.
Whether this will happen and whether human resources experts will accept the leading role depends only on them and their attitude towards themselves and then towards the work environment.
As professionals, we are responsible for adding value to the organizations we serve and the ethical success (or failure) of those organizations. As advocates of this profession, by engaging in the business of human resource management, we increase its value and accept professional responsibility for our individual decisions and actions. Also, through our work and actions, we build respect, credibility and strategic importance for our profession in organizations, the business community and the communities in which we work.
In order to help the organizations we work in, the employees we work with in achieving their goals, we must also help ourselves. How?
